Two-factor authentication, also known as two-step verification, is an additional layer of security that is simple to use while making it significantly more difficult for a hacker to access your CoPower account. 

When two-factor authentication is enabled, logging in will require you to enter your password, followed by a unique authentication code sent instantly to your mobile device via email or text message.

How to set up two-factor authentication:

1. Login to your CoPower account

2. Navigate to “My Portfolio and enable on two-factor authentication by clicking the edit button and then "manage two-factor authentication".

3. Download the verification app.

4. Scan the QR code as directed OR if that isn't possible you can manually enter the code using the given key.

6) Enter the verification code that will then be sent to your device. Et voila! 

Two-factor authentication is entirely optional. Rest assured that CoPower’s platform has been designed with bank-level security measures from our 128-bit SSL certificate to TLS 1.2 - a modern transmission security scheme, and is continually being updated.
